Building management doesn’t happen behind a desk.
It happens while walking through the property, speaking with residents, checking common areas, coordinating contractors, responding to problems and keeping the committee informed.
We learned this through experience.
For almost five years, our team has managed a residential complex in Teneriffe, Brisbane. As we expanded and began managing more complexes, we found ourselves facing the same problem every day: too much important information was spread across too many places.
Emails, text messages, phone calls, notices, spreadsheets and handwritten notes all needed to be brought together. After completing a walk-through or speaking with a resident, we often had to return to the office, open the laptop and record everything again.
We needed to:
- Respond to emails and enquiries
- Record maintenance and operational issues
- Create and follow up action items
- Track recurring caretaking duties
- Coordinate residents, staff and contractors
- Keep the committee and body corporate informed
- Prepare accurate quarterly management reports
The work was being done, but documenting and communicating it created another layer of work.
We Knew There Had to Be a Better Way
During our first year, we subscribed to an existing management platform. However, it was not designed specifically for management-rights and building-management businesses.
Many of its features were not relevant to the way we worked, while many of the tools we actually needed were missing.
That experience led to a simple question:
What if a building manager could manage the entire day from one easy-to-use app—while still walking around the building?
That question became the beginning of our app.
Turn Every Walk-Through Into a Live Building Record
The app is designed to work wherever the building manager is working.
During a daily walk-through, managers can quickly:
- Create a note or action item
- Take and attach photos
- Record a maintenance or safety issue
- Complete recurring tasks and inspections
- Assign work to a staff member or contractor
- Check resident or contractor details
- Track progress and follow-up actions
- Keep a clear record of completed work
Every update contributes to the building’s operational history.
Instead of trying to reconstruct three months of activity before a committee meeting, the management report is built progressively in the background as the work is completed.
One Building. One Connected System.
Building management involves more than one person. Managers, staff, residents, contractors, owners and committees all need different information—but they should be working from the same source of truth.
Our vision is to bring those connections into one simple platform.
A resident can submit a request. The building manager can review it and assign a contractor. Progress can be recorded, photos can be attached, and the relevant people can be kept informed—all without the information becoming lost across emails, messages and separate systems.
Committees gain clearer visibility. Contractors receive better instructions. Residents receive faster updates. Building managers spend less time repeating administrative work.
Everyone stays on the same page.
Technology Designed Around Real Buildings
This app was not created from a theory about how buildings should operate.
It grew from years of managing real residential complexes, solving real problems and working directly with residents, committees, contractors and onsite teams.
We are building the platform we wished we had when we began—and we continue to test and improve it through everyday building operations.
Our goal is not simply to digitise more paperwork. It is to help building managers work more efficiently, communicate more clearly and spend more time looking after the people and properties that depend on them.
A Better Way to Manage Buildings
We believe the future of building management should be mobile, connected and transparent.
Important information should be easy to find. Tasks should not be forgotten. Committees should not have to wait months for an update. Residents should know that their requests have been received and are being followed up.
Most importantly, building managers should be able to manage the building from the building—not from behind a desk.
One app. One connected building. A clearer way forward.
